We can be found more and more often with our neighbours to the east, and that’s a good thing. On Saturday 26 July, we played as headliners at the Irish Festival in Hassbergen, and now we will be closing the evening at the TIG Theatre in Mönchengladbach at the first Irish Night. Germany: here we come again!
The festival is organised and partly sponsored by the owners of Camdata in Germany. Two bands will perform at this first edition. From Mönchengladbach itself comes the punk-folk formation The Goblins of St. Vith.
The Goblins of St. Vith
The burly band (they sometimes play with nine people on stage) plays rousing Irish music with bagpipes, accordion, fiddle etc. From classics to their own pieces: they play everything at the first Irish Night in Mönchengladbach as the opening act of the festival in the TIG Theatre. They start at 6 p.m.

Acting The Maggot
And then it’s time to switch quickly so that Acting The Maggot can take the stage. They will round off the evening with their party tunes. Of course, as always, Acting The Maggot will be playing with banjo, fiddle, drums, guitars, accordion, bass and drums. It’s sure to be very entertaining, so buy your tickets now in advance via the TIG Theatre website for €25.
