Sold-out theaters for The Rocky Road to Dublin
The title says it all: our theater tour The Rocky Road to Dublin is doing extremely well! After Boxtel, Venray and Alphen a/d Rijn, Theater De Speeldoos in Baarn is also selling out completely.
We never thought this was possible, but now the fourth show is also completely sold out. Many other theaters are filled to capacity and both theaters and visitors are extremely enthusiastic about our show.
We have played in Veldhoven, followed by Voorburg, Steenwijk, Maassluis, Venray, Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht, Alphen a/d Rijn, Oostburg, Valkenswaard and last Sunday we visited Wennekerpand in Schiedam. We worked long and hard on it, then it’s nice that things fall into place like this. And although we are now just over halfway through our theater tour, we are thinking about doing a reprise in season 2025/2026 so that even more people will have the chance to get to know Acting The Maggot. We will know more about this soon!

For now, we are moving on to the following venues: Baarn (sold out), Nieuwegein, Lochem, Ulft, Boxtel (sold out), Venlo (stand-up concert) and Oldenzaal. By the way, we very often get questions whether there will be an extra show in Boxtel, but we can clearly answer that question: not this season.
Praising reactions to the Acting The Maggot show
Selling out is not most important thing. Far more important to us is that the visitors have a extremely good time. And so far, that is absolutely the case. People leave particularly laudatory comments online and we hear the same after our shows. That’s because we invariably go to the foyer to say hello to people.
